PortuGirl's Trip Itinerary
Join us in Portugal August 4th-6th for a jam-packed weekend of real estate and girl trip fun! This adventure will include a sunset welcome dinner overlooking the historic Porto skyline, followed by two days scoping real estate in Porto and other hot investing areas in Northern Portugal. This will be a fun filled weekend of real estate, ladies, and Portugal adventures!
Welcome Festivities
Meet the group at the riverfront and walk across the pedestrian bridge together to grab a cocktail and enjoy the breathtaking view of Porto. Head to a 5-star hilltop restaurant to talk about your investing goals while sampling Portuguese fine dining and watching the sunset over the city while imagining how you could own a little piece of this European paradise.
Porto & Gaia REI Tour
We will begin our journey in Portugal’s second largest city, Porto. Here we will meet a local agent and investor to scope everything from serene beach homes on the coast to historic renovation projects in the bustling downtown district, as well as wine and dine at sunset on a fabulous rooftop while running the numbers on potential investment properties. Cheers!
Caminha Real Estate & Beach Day
On Sunday, we will drive north to explore investment opportunities in charming Caminha, which is steeped in history, surrounded by river, ocean and mountains - and gets some great investment returns! Here we will scope river front and ocean front investment opportunities and enjoy a beach day lounging in the sun and soaking up the fabulousness of being an international investor! Feel like some tapas? We can shoot over the bridge or water taxi to Spain and in just 20 minutes be enjoying Spanish wine and tapas - ain't life grand?!
Transportation &Accomodation
We encourage you to arrive in Porto on August 3rd to be fresh for the 4th! However, most flights from the US are evening flights that arrive in the morning, so you are also welcome to arrive the morning of the 4th and grab a nap before meeting up with the group in the evening. As for accommodations, you are welcome to stay anywhere you like, however we recommend grabbing a hotel or Airbnb in the beautiful riverfront neighborhood of Ribeira. We are happy to also share our favorite hotels in the area as well as connect you with other women who will be joining in case you would like to book accommodation together.
Side Trips
While we will focus our real estate scoping to the North of Portugal given its attractive price points and rental returns, there is certainly much more to see in Portugal - and we want to help you see it all! For women interested in visiting Lisbon, The Algarve, or both, we will support you with a suggested itinerary. We also have real estate contacts in many other parts of Portugal, and we are happy to share contacts and support you in getting set up with additional real estate tours.
